As of Wednesday 3/18, if your student needs to turn in paper assignments there are several options. We will have tables in our hallway set up with boxes for each teacher. You may choose to leave assignments in the boxes. If you don't want to come to the building, have your student take a photo or scan the document and email it to the teacher. If the teacher has the assignment attached to a Google Classroom or Canvas assignment, teachers may prefer this method of submission. If you have questions, reach out to the teacher. Teachers will be available from 7:20-3:20 each day, but many will be working from home in order to take care of their own families. They will do their best to respond quickly to any parent or student inquiry.
Some students may have left items in school lockers they need to retrieve. We are happy to escort students to their locker to retrieve important items such as textbooks or calculators. Unless necessary, we encourage students to avoid coming to the school. There will be no activities at the school until school resumes.
Please encourage your student to do the assignments given them by our teachers. We still feel responsible to give your student the best educational experience possible during this time. Quite honestly, it is a little too quiet around here for my tastes.
Thank you for your support.
